Some woman T boned my car last week. I was minding my own business on the highway at about 60mph. I seen this car fly up to this stop sign so I slowed down. She pretty well locked up her brakes and stopped. I figured she saw me, so that's why she did that, so I sped back up then BAM! It's totalled out. I'm supposed to call the insurance co. back today to see how they're gonna try and screw me over. She pretty much tore the whole right side off and caved it in at the passenger door. The roof is buckled, the dash is buckled. I'm gonna see what it'll be to buy it back. The front, back and left side is all still good. Make's me sick to look at it. 165k and it still ran great.

These are before the crash, I gotta upload the damage pics yet.

Sad, sad day.....another fox loses it's life. My condolences on the loss. Hopefully the Ins. Co. doesn't try to screw you over too badly.

You're ok though right?

Yeah, I just had a bruise on my left arm from the airbag, and some cuts from the glass. I guess the search is on for another.

Man I am so sorry for your loss.... Still, it is impressive that you can walk away from an impact like that.

that sucks man, bad, but I wouldnt waste my time buying it back, either way your gonna get screwed, if insurance goes by the blue book you might walk out with a few thousand, part out the car and I think youll come out with less. My buddy totaled his 99gt and he told the insurance all the mods he had and they gave him money for each part he had. Id say take the insurance money, and buy a cheap fox and have it as a project, even sue the lady if you can, what happened to her car? Is her insurance paying?

That's exactly what my GT looked like when I hit a pole about a year back. It was the passenger seat that saved my life. Good to see that you walked away from it. Sorry about the loss.

Well, I talked to the Insurance Co. He estimated it at about $5k I paid $3200 3 years ago for it and put about $500 in it. I'm supposed to meet with the adjuster later this week on the final price. I'll try and squeeze them a little more.

I guess it would be a good idea to have the reciepts of what I had done to the car when I meet up with the adjuster. I'd like to have the headers off of it, or at least get my $$ back for them, I don't really have the time to take them off right now.

Ehhh.....I don't know about that. I got $4500 back from the insurance co when I totalled my mustang. I then bought the car back for $200. It was definitely worth buying back. Hell just the motor is worth double that. Glad to see you're ok. Trust me I know how bad it can suck. I was $300 away from paying off my parents for my car when I totalled mine.
