My '66 coupe is my daily driver. My problem is my turn signal switch. In the 3yrs. I've owned it, Ive installed 3switches, and I just ordered my 5th cancel repair kit. Thats not ontop of the dozen times I've "adjusted" the contacts so I'll have brake lights. Does anyone know of a different style switch, or a column I can install that is more reliable? My mustang isn't a show car, but I would still hate to get rearended.

I have driven close to 200K miles in 66 Mustangs and I have never broken a turn signal switch. You must be puling on it way too hard.

I'm gentle on the turn signal switch in my '69 and it fails all the time too. It has frustrated me to the point that I am considering an entry level (not polished or anything) Flaming River steering column, just so I don't have to deal with the switch breaking all the time.
