Heh..its like a little song! (and it rhymes)

I dropped by today and they were test fitting all the body panels before taking it all back apart and painting the fenders and the bumper covers. I don't know why they sanded the bumper cover around the Ford emblem, I gave them the Cobra insert that goes in there. heh.

Also, I didn't take a picture of it, but the keylock in the decklid is gone, and if you notice, something is missing from the passenger side fender.

I'm ordering the Cobra fender extensions and side skirts next week too. Hooray! I've haven't seen the car this put together in over 5 years. I'm so FREAKIN' EXCITED!

They already shot the underside of the hood, and they did the engine bay like 3 years ago so that much is done...and you can kinda tell what color the whole car is gonna be.

How much are you getting your body work done for? Are you doing a complete resto or just paint job?

Yeah, that dark blue is gonna be the color of the whole car.

Negative on the stalker front. The Cobra insert is all I need. I don't like the slope that rides b/t the headlights on the stalker.

Its closer to a restore than just a paint job....They're taking out ALL the rust, bumps, dings, redoing the T-Top trim (in black of course), repainting all the trim (in black), and doing the complete color conversion (door sills, trunk, inner door skins), shaved the antenna, the trunk key, and the holes for those STUPID seat belt retractor plungers. The whole job is costing me $3k.

Thx for the compliments. I can't wait.

Where? I need them to do my Capri. I need the same stuff as you. I also want to swap in an '87-93 LX dash and center console.

Island Breeze Collision, Cleveland St, right on the Portsmouth side of the Midtown Tunnel. 757-399-4655. The owners name is Norman.

Don't think the name decieving, these guys are Jamaican...but, DAMN can they paint a car. I took it to them a few years ago to get the engine bay done. I'd never heard anything about them, but I lived right down the street at the time and the car had no engine in it. So I gave them a shot. They did such a good job on it, I'm happy to have them do the rest of the car.

Keep in mind, they really do ONLY body work. Any interior stuff is gonna be up to you. That said, I think the Fox3 dash is the right call.

/just say "NO" to 80's dash

::don't shoot me:: its actually based on a Dodge color. Patriot blue. But there's some extra metallic flec to it and its a LITTLE darker. At night, it looks black. Very deep color.

Close...but darker...and more Cobraish. Theres just something about dark blue, 99 Cobra wheels, and Red calipers that's awesome on a Fox3.

/keeping the GT spoiler
//Cobra spoiler can suck it
