t10 to 92 302 help

hi, need help with something. i am looking at buying a built 92 5.0 motor for my 66 coupe and need to know if my T10 will bolt to the block with my bell housing. i have a 78 302 in the car now

Yes it will physically bolt up to the 5.0 engine. The problem is you will need a new flywheel because the 92 has a 50 ounce balance to it it and the 78 has a 28 ounce balance to it. If you use the current flywheel you will destroy the 92.

Make sure you get a 28 ounce flywheel that is the same size and style clutch (either 10 1/2 or 11 inch 3 finger) and you should be fine.

The 92 motor(block) will also be missing the clutch pivot boss, the classic Stang suppliers sell an adapter to bolt to the block to fix this.
