I finally decided to tear into my busted T5 yesterday. It looks like I lost a couple rollers from the input shaft bearing, and Im guessing that's what killed it. It really doesn't look too bad except for the bearing and all the metal shavings.
It still won't spin in one gear, but if that's nothing major I think I will rebuild it and keep it as a spare. How hard is to rebuild a t5? As in, replace all the bearings and anything else that should be replaced.
