just making sure, your spose to use dex/merc right????

what would happen if i use 75-80 or 80w oil???

also when i push my brake pedal i here air, is that normal??
i just replaced calipers to 88 lincolns which have the larger piston. master cylender is new but stock, what are some things i can do to check if the booster is bad?? thx

If you use gear oil in a T5, start saving for a new transmission because that one isn't long for this world. If you're hearing air when you push the brake pedal, don't drive the car until you find the source of the sound. Could be a vacuum leak, could be a brake system leak. Your safest bet is to make sure the system is up to par, that there's no leaks, and that it's been bled properly. If you have a vacuum leak, that should be a pretty easy fix as long as it's not the booster itself leaking.
