t5 gurus needed

Hey guys having trouble finding info on the stock t-5, what kind of power will they hold, i am starting work on my combo, and first thing is to tear out the slush box, i plan to make close to 400 horse with a h/c/i combo na,, and was wondering how will a stocker deal with that,and for the future which tranny is recoed for this power lever,clutch suggestions would be great too thanks in advance

85.5=89 T-5 265 ft-lbs torque

90+ t-5 300 ft-lbs

Cobra t-5 = 310 ft-lbs

Z-spec T-5 = 330 ft-lbs.

Hhehe, T5's are like a box of chocolate.. you never know what your gonna get..... My original one lasted through Nutural drops, Burtnouts, 5k launches on ET Streets, all kinds of stupid things you could do as a teen, before it let go... My Z class blew up three days after instalation driving home from school on street tires.. I know guys with 500 rwhp with them, and they stay together, others blow up on stock stangs with drag radials.. Save up, buy a tremec once, and sell your tranny for a shifter and a clutch... Just my opinion...

thanks guys thats what i needed to know, i hope i get a good one and it will last till i get enough for a t56, after i pay for the engine rebuild
