Drivetrain t5 help

ok well broke my t5 in 5.0, I went the junk they hav tons of v6 t5's in 98 and above mustangs,there only $100 so I bought one out of a 98 for now,i,m havin my v8 t5 rebuilt, so do I need do anything to hav that v6 t5 work properly

The input shaft for sure is different so you will need to swap that. At some point they changed from a gear to drive the speedo sensor to pulse driven but I believe that was '99.

That's not a T-5. That' a T-45 out of a V8.

Bellhousing bolt pattern won't bolt to a 302. Still, $100 is not a bad price. You can flip it for a profit.
