T5 shifter position

I just got done with my AOD to T5 conversion...while doing this I also installed new Prothane motor and tranny mounts. I cut the hole where the shifter comes through the floor just in the front towards the firewall to give clearance for the shifter. Now it seems the passenger side rear is really close to the floorpan. Should I just cut this out a little? Does it seem everything is setting normal? Thanks for any help.

Looks about the same as my notch. It was an auto car.

Thats what I was wanting to hear! Did you trim any around the back part? I just don't want anything hitting the floor. Thanks.

You could trim the bottom right coner for peace of mind, but it looks fine to me, I actually took my trimmings and covered the funky shape on the passenger side a little.
