Hi,
I have a '94 5.0 with a T5. I replaced the clutch and TO bearing last winter and while I was at it replaced the stock shifter with a Tri-Ax. The clutch and shifter work great but sometimes I have a hard time getting the trans into first gear or reverse if I'm at a complete stop. It also seems to stick in first or reverse when I try to move the shifter back into neutral when stopped. I can get it to go but I have to really have to force it out of gear. The car has around 58,000 miles and other than the clutch and shifter it is all stock. These shifting issues don't happen all the time and only when the car is at a stop. When I'm going down the road it shifts fine, a little more notchy than the stock shifter but otherwise it's good. The new clutch seems to engage just like the original one, so I think its adjusted OK. I also replaced the trany fliud when I had everything apert. What do you guys think?
