t5 swap road test, code 81 82 85

I just road tested my 93 lx after doing the t5 swap. I didn't know the condition of the t5 since I bought locally off of a guy who bought a wreck and just wanted the engine. I removed the t5 covers and flushed it out. The t5 works perfectly. It feels like I got tons more power. I wish I would have weighted the AOD and t5 and components. I bet the difference is hugh.

I came up with a CE light during the road test though. I recieved codes 81, 82, 85. I never recieved them with the AOD. I guess that the AOD never allowed the RPM to rev up high enough. I don't have therma reactor or a carbon canister solenoids. After a search here I found a post that said to use 80-82 ohm, 2 watt resisters to minick the solenoids. I'm going to give that a shot.

I tore those off and threw them away with the rest off my emissions crap. I have no problem. My question to you is have you cahnged the aod computer and replaced it with a manual tranny unit. You will have to do this. Your cars computer isnt receiving any imfomation from the tranny Or the aod that is no longer in the car.

This isnt quite accurate. The auto puter can work fine. On a fox, the puter doesnt know what the trans is doing and the trans doesnt get puter input.
