there should be an id tag attached to it somewhere. if you find it, plug it into here and i'll let you know.

Outward most obvious signs:
On the drivers side there is a bolt where 5th/reverse are connected -- on a world class it is either a Torx or Allen. On a regular T-5 it is a standard bolt head.

On the front of the case where the countershaft is in the case (the round cap pressed into the front of the casing, semi covered by the bearing retainer sleeve...see pic): the world class is a flush looking fitting with extra thick case material around it. The non-world class has a beveled edge face and isn't reinforced around that area. Requires the use of RTV or such to seal the case.

Yes, pretty much all of them.

Only the 83-mid 85 cars were non-WC. From 85.5 and up, they were all WC in the Mustang....even 2.3L's.

All it refers to is different bearings and 3-peice synchros for 1-4 gear. It's not any stronger...rated to 275 ft-lbs up to 1989 and 300 ft-lbs from 90+

Everyone confuses WC with Z-spec. All WC means is you have more parts to replace during a rebuild : (
