so for those of you who are wondering what a T56 swap consists of here it goes:
remove your trans/bell
install the t56 with these modifications
the plate between the engine and trans must be clearanced to accomodate the clutch cable--do this before you install trans
the exsisting crossmember supports must be cut and the provided ones welded in. this is the trick of the install, if you have sfc's then you are on your own.
if you don't(like i didn't) then now is a great time to put them in. first you cut the rear-most crossmember support on both sides and test fit the supplied brackets. once you find where you want the brackets you will have to modify the sfc's(depending on model) to clear the brackets. once everything is dandy then weld away.
the other trick is getting a mid pipe to fit, as you can see in the pics it still rubs the crossmember, but that is the best fitting of the 3 midpipes i tried.

after that is the time to install your maximum motorsports front coilovers with offset tubular control arms and 4 bolt cc plates. fwiw i had QA1 cc plates and the move to mm cc plates/control arms netted me an additional .75deg pos caster without any adverse affect to bump travel.
