ok, heres the deal, i have a 95 mustang with a 01' police interceptor 4.6L and a 03' cobra t56 6 speed tranny. the problem is my transmission has been fine until all of the sudden one day i get in and drive it and it grinds going from 1st to 2nd and from 3rd to 2nd at almost any rpm, it will go in at like 1100 rpm but i am pretty sure that the syncros is the problem or blocker rings. the question i have is should i save up for a complete overhaul on this extremely low mileage tranny or take it out see what parts needs to be replace and just do replace them. a buddy of mine and myself have done some t5's before and i have a repair manual for this tranny so we should manage to do this fairly easily but i am a little tight on cash right now and am a little uneasy about spending $600 on a rebuild kit. any info, or sites with great kits would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
