T56 Tranny

I was wondering if anyone has tried to install a T56 in a 64'-73 ' Mustang?

You will be doing a lot of tranny tunnel surgery to get that thing in there....but if you are willing it will fit. And by surgery I am not talking about taking a sledge and beating it, I am taling about cutting and refabricating.

Ron is right on. I have only seen 1 good T-56 install. Eric (r100rt) did one on his crazy twin turbo car. If you are willing to do as nice a job as he did it will work.

Yes lots of tranny modification on the passengers side well this was on a 67'.
