trying to remove the taillights on my 67. I got the tim off and i don't see anything holding them on. On each side there is what appears to be a bolt sticking thru however i don't see a way to remove it. short of prying or busting the lens's i don't see a way to remove them. I swear i must be missing something obvious.

Before LMAN dumps one of those huge use search pictures up, i did, searched for 67 tail light removal, tail light removal ... anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the lenses come out with the buckets from inside the trunk, The lenses are one piece, even though there are three holes for each in the rear panel.

I can't remember right now how the buckets are attached to the panel, and it's a little too cold outside right now for me to go out and check. :(

Hope this answers your question.

I just got mine out the other day---The car might have been disassembled before, but from what I saw it should just pop out with the bucket as one piece. I don't have pictures-sorry

They are just stuck.

Just give them a little whack on the top of the housing with the palm of your hand. What you have is the thick rubber gasket stuck to the inside of the car.
If you have taken all six nuts off the chrome trim and removed the trim then thats what has happened. They'll come loose.
