tailpipes?

i want some new tail pipes because my 3 inch ones cause to much of a drone inside my car. if i put on regular sized ones will i lose any power or gain any or what will happen? thanks

If you make your tailpipes smaller than the rest of your exhaust pipe you'll lose some power. If its the same size as the rest of your exhaust, you'll be fine.

Its not the tail pipes causing the drone, its your flowmaster mufflers.

believe striped5.0, i replaced my flowmaster with mac and a x-pipe, and got rid of my drone also got one sick sound out of it

its not my flowmasters, because my friend has the exact same exhaust set up as me with regular tailpipes and its quieter in his car. so i know its not that. we have the same headers, same Hpipe, same catback/mufflers an different tail pipes, mine drones and his doesnt , so its that.

I noticed my drone deminished substantially when I switched from my stock flowtubes to 2.5" stainless ones. Seems odd, but it did.
