Have some quick gear and stall ? for ya Here’s a quick run down

95 cobra. Gutted 10 pt 4130 cage, full length sub frames, D&D complete front end w/ coilovers, Team Z rear suspension w coilovers, PA C4 with trans brake. 9" Precision Industries Converter 3800 stall, fully built 8.8 with 3.73. Car is 3070 lbs. without driver now but I still need to take out the front and rear bumper supports and ill try to get it to 3000 lbs. with driver

Car runs 12.8 @ 101 n/a and 11.8 with a 100 shot on a stock long block with mighty demon 650 and Edelbrock victor j.r now

My questions are, I am putting in a 364 ci Dart stroker, Afr 205 heads, Super victor intake, big camshaft innovations cam .726/.714, JE pistons, Zero balanced motor.1-7/8 x 3.5” accufab long tube headers. What do you think about the Converter and rear gear and rear tire the car has now.? It’s a 3800 stall with 3.73 gear and a 26 X 10 ET street. I’ll run the car like this and see what it will do but would also like to hear some of your suggestions

Nice setup there.

Suggest that you base the converter and rear gear on the max rpm you want it to turn as it crosses the finish line, and set it up to run at or under your safe limit by a few rpm, maybe 50 to a 100.

You can get the finish line rpm by reading the tach, or from the tach memory if you have one, or by just calculating the numbers.

I set up to stay at 6k through the lights with 4.10 gears, etc. Just made it. I will be trying the 4.56 for the eigth mile.
