bunch of AF guys huh..me too, I've ridden in th c-5, c-17, 130's h-53 helo's blah blah blah. Got quite a few flights on the AC 130h gunship, couple of live fires, that was pretty cool. Buddy of mine got the incentive flight on a 15, said it was the worst thing he ever did...hope yours is cool...later

I never get to see the finished product, but some of the components in the F-22 are a PITA to mill on a CNC

LOL I bet they are!
I've also been to Marietta where they assemble the 22's. Dobbins.
We'd take a couple 16's their to escort the 22's on their first flts, and their flts back to Edwards. I was their for ship 7.

Man that **** wore me out...I was asleep by 9pm last night!! Wow what a ride it was something else...more than I expected! I guess I have a iron stomach cause I made it through w/o puking!! I did almost blackout at 7.X G's..so I said no more! I saw grey closeing in all around me (I tried the breathing and squeezing all my leg muscles) but any more and I woulda blacked out! When you pull serious G's like that, it pushes the blood down...so your loosing blood in your brain..thats why you see the grey, then pass out. The suit you wear squeezes you under G's to help you, and you are suppose to squeeze your leg muscles...when I did the grey started to faded away. The pilot said (I weigh 195) he said if you weigh 200lbs 7 G's was about 1500lbs on my chest! Well take off was wicked...thing puts you back (not like a 1.6 60ft though..lol) and before I knew it we were airborn! He took me past a meteor, through some clouds, then the Grand Canyon!!! That **** was tight! We flew through AZ, Utah, and Cali on my flt! Everything looks so different from up their! Then we went to play..we cruised next to a highway at 600mph ground speed so I could get the effect of our speed...woahhhh, we then played with the radar and locked on to airliners and tried to do some cars on the highway, lol, we then climbed to 18,000 ft to play! He said "Chris shes all yours" I was like sweet..BAM I grabbed the controls and took her straight into a roll...weeeee. Did a couple loops (all with his help), rolls, and just all over the place! Pullin G's and negative G's (where it feels like your fallin) the entire time! Awesome, I have a new respect for those pilots! Then we headed back..and on the way in I could see me neighbor hood...lol, we did a 500ft flyby of the base, then he told me to put the landing gear down (I gladly did) and he landed it..wow super smooth, I thought it would be alot worse..like a airliner. Then back to the spot and in chocks! Total flight was a lil under a hour and a half! It was something else, I'm still grinning!

I have some of when I landed also...but don't wanna get carried away. All the really cool in-flight ones are with a disposable...I'll see if I can post a few of those some how!
Enjoy!

jeez, how it must feel to be sitting in that cockpit... i think of it as riding a roller coaster for the first time being strapped down but only 100x cooler... but then I can only imagine
