Everyone, my 03 GT has been stored for the last 13 months while I’ve been working overseas. I’m about to take it out storage when I return next week and was wondering what fluids need to be changed. Current mileage is 31,719 and most of the fluids were changed at the following interval. Any advice would be appreciated.

Auto Trans Fluid 23,600
Coolant 23,600
Power Steering NEVER
Rear End 15,100
Fuel Filter 23,600
Brake Fluid 25,000
Oil & Filter 27,778

Personally I would do oil + filter, fuel filter, and clean the air filter. You could also seamfoam your car.

Did you park it on stands, or carpet / mats? or just concrete? After 13 months if no one has moved it, you could have flat spots on your tires if they weren't pumped up alot.

Thanks for the reply

I put Stabil in the fuel system and the car was on old tires and wheels. My Dad ran it up every other day and drove it up and down the driveway every so often. I hope everything is OK.

... good thing - new tank of gas once that one is consumed will take care of that

...and the car was on old tires and wheels

Perfect

You're in good shape then. Check for worn hoses (doubt it based on mileage), change the oil and fuel filter and away you go!! :nice:

You could always do plugs, as they're cheap and easy to change
