Went to Ford dealer last weekend to sit in the new '05. I'm 6'4", and the '04s were just too small. I was really, really pleased to find that I have a good 1/2-to1-inch of space of extra room above my head. Waiting for the vert, and hope it doesn't take up too much of that extra atmosphere.

Also, had the guy start it up just so I could hear it. My dad had a '69 GT vert when I was a kid, and the sound was like hearing an old Beatles tune or something...just brought me back.

Very nice. I'm 6'5", and I could fit in my '97 Mustang OK but it was tight and I had to lean my seat back. So it should be nice to have some extra room.

I'm 6'4, I've had a '91, a '97, and an '02 and NEVER had problems fitting into any of them. If you can't fit into one I sugest you look at the front and side of the seat and you will see these buttons. Try using them to adjust the seat and you will find that you too will be able to fit comfortably into one

I'm 6'7", most of it torso, and I don't have any problems. I fill it, but I'm not bouncing off anything I shouldn't be.

Damn, we got some tall dudes in here. I am a shade under 6'3". I wonder if Mustang owners are taller than Camaro owners?

Don't worry, Mr_dcj2001, the car is probably fine for short guys under 6'4" as well.

Just kidding (!)

I'm 6'9 and ive owned and driven quite a few mustangs (87,89,91,96,03,04)and a 95 camaro, I fit in camaros much better but the 99-04 mustangs are a tight squeeze, I could drive an automatic no problem but I have a problem using the clutch in those years, the door panel extends too far out and I cant get my leg up. I am mostly leg, I dont usually have a head room issue, its more leg. When I buy my 05 I will most likely have to modify the seat a little bit. But hey, its worth it.
