Taller 5th gear in T-5

WHo was it that sold taller ratios for 5th in the t-5?

I might do a lot of highway driving to cruise to shows in the area so i want something that will give me low RPM's on the highway with 3.73's

No big deal? An attitude like that could kill someone being so careless or misguide someone into buying and trying to install a graphics chip into a T5.

Sorry to go off topic, but is there anyone who makes a shorter gear for the t45? it would be nice to have the vert pull in 5th. that would be fun ride; 4.10s shifting into 5th with more emph behind it.

The Ford Super Duty T5 has a 0.62 5th gear (stock T5 is 0.68). This would make your 3.73's more like 3.55's when in 5th.

Some of the Tremec trans have the 0.62 as well.

But that would require a brand new gearset.

Right now i have a 90-93 gearset with all brand new gears. Sinc ei still have the t-5 open, now is the time to change 5th if i can.
