I actually like "hot rods" I don't care what "brand" engine is in a particular vehicle. Some combos are cooler than others to me but the LS swaps are understandable. Personally would have liked a coyote swap better but completely agree it's not worth the extra costs. I wouldn't do it either. I really am not brand loyal. I've owned a bunch of gm/dodge/ford products. I can't wait to see the end results. How long do you think it will take before you have the "blown" version completed? What's your end goal power wise? 700+ give or take?

Should be able to sneak my way into the 600s with a 2300 blower on the LS1 shortblock. But longevity won't be realistic. At that point it will be easy enough to substitute a forged 370 shortblock and get a little crazier. End goal still probably being 600-700.
Unfortunately I've dug pretty deep in the wallet to do this much quickly already, a $7,000 blower and a transmission overhaul aren't in the cards for a while. Having the fuel system and suspension already accounted for really helps but the stock 6spd will pop immediately.

Here's a cool build I'm kind of referencing though:

Halfway moved in and the other guy is halfway moved out.

Have at least 3x the room I had before. And a 220 plug in for a welder. Feel a lot better now

How in the F do they lose stuff like that?!? Or, was it "lost" I wonder. Either way, I am assuming you had insurance after the experience with shipping the last motor?

They said it probably shipped without paperwork and we won't know if it gets there until it gets there. Exactly what you want to hear with thousands of dollars of your stuff.

I didn't arrange the transport, I paid through PayPal and through a credit card for as much buyer protection as possible , so I'm not worried about getting my money back as much as I'm amazed that "we don't know where it went" was an acceptable answer to them.

Tanner, that is one beautiful car, man. Truly gorgeous. One of my favorites. An LS swap in a running termi would kill me, but for a roller I get it. Not that you need my blessing, because who am I, right? Lol.. But anyhoo, I hope to see it going soon despite the setbacks, and I'm sorry to hear of your luck, it sounds like mine lately...

Thanks man I really appreciate that.
I think the problem is some people take cars way too seriously. I'm as big a car nut as you could ever hope to find and it doesn't bother me
Anywho, hopefully progress will come quickly once, you know... I have parts
