Silver83GT, not bad at all for your first time. I remember my first time and its is a learning experience.A little practice and you could get it in the 14's which is great for a basicly stock '83.

How did you do yesterday in your whiplashmobile ??

Nope, you were understanding and apologetic and I appreciated that. It was the guys friend that was next to me, he had a Blue 03.... short over weight frumpy guy with an attitude.

I've been racing over 9 years now, I have a 93 fox that will run mid 8's with the new combo and this is the first event that this ever happened to me. I usually set up way in the back lot but I thought it would be easier on my wife to park closer just in case she wanted to watch TV in the truck or relax.

Nice run bro, I know what I need to do to drop my short time and ET but thats my street car, something I want to rely on......I dont want two head aches sitting in the garage, the other car is a hand full enough.

As I said in my previous post i qualified #2 in Street shootout with a 9.8. It slowed down because i switched to a serpintine blower belt . But I got the 60's down but I lost 9 mph because of belt slippage. I was on a quicker run in eliminations but lifted because opponent was way behind. But I blew up the tranny before the semi-finals

Thanks man, If it could of just lasted a couple more runs I feel I would of won. But thats racing. If winning was easy it would'nt feel as rewarding.
I guess I will just get ready for next year. Most likely adding a 'chute for some 150+ mphs and low9's possibly high 8's with the cog setup. I have been running a extremly safe tune and there is a lot more power in it.

I had a good day. This was my second day time running with the Vortech and I bettered the previous weekend's 12.90 @ 103 with a 12.70 @ 104. I bumped the timing and ran some race gas plus the air was better. I lost in the third round with a red light then ran 12.75 on the 12.74 dial

I thought the overall crowd was a little light but it made for a more enjoyable day as far as I was concerned.

Ha, so you want to start **** here on this thread, why didn't you open your mouth when I confronted him then?.......Yeah, I was in the right he was 100% WRONG.....I simply told him he was in back of my trailer and he gave me a ****ty attitude and made a sly remark under his breath when I was walking away.... I herd it so I turned around to answer his question, plain and simple. It's a funny thing, the first insult you make is about my physique. I have been racing over 9 years and never made an enemy!.....I have so many friends in this sport it would make your head spin. So I have a ****ing truck and trailer. I drove my car up on FFW, decided to take the trailer and truck this time so my wife could relax.....oh, and yeah **** happens, you want to pay for my tow when I snap a half shaft or smoke a clutch?? Lets all take our dicks out im sure you have the biggest since you drove your **** box up there huh??

And BTW, I met you "friend" at the Rodman car show and thought he had an attitude then....i'm pretty good at figuring people out right off the bat due to my instinct and line of work.....I knew from the get go I would have a problem with your group.....**** MR king of NED I should have bowed down to you....I'll remember to do so sir when I catch you next time.....why didn't you tell your buddie to move his car somewhere else when you saw him park it there, were you looking for a confritation??....you have been racing for 12 yrs??....have you been bench racing the whole time???? if not you should have schooled your friend right from wrong.

first of all dip***** i wasnt in the imediate area when you opened your mouth i was busy eliminating racers in the class i was in. try it sometime. your talking like im him, my physique? you must be talking about him still. and yeah your physique was the first thing i insulted becuase i know how people who workout all their life to brag about it and show it off take great offense to it. its called pushing buttons. seems to be an underlying theme in your 2nd paragraph, dicks all over it, are you hiding somthing ? like the salami? and yeah i drove my box up there eliminated all but one competitior who i can admit was better then me and drove it home. when you learn how to build a car you can do that to. i prolly shoulda got out of my vehicle at the end of the track and called him a bitch becuase he didnt let me win or sothing right. and then make up a story he was rude while we drove down the track making mean faces at me. ***** happens was a remark about the parking situation not the breaking a part situation. try re reading again before punching your keybaord to hell next time. when you catch me next time? dude if you had balls you woulve said somthing to someone other then someone smaller then you. your a punk thats all there is to that. and i insulted your "physique and you did exactly what i thought you would show off your self some more. so this is what happens huh? i attend FFW in august, get trashed and have ONE hell of time.... Tasca Day comes around, i miss it due to work/family and a bunch of BS ignites? wow.. i think it's time to butt in a little bit considering i am friends with Keith(raw lifter).... I understand the circumstances and both sides and what not, and i think both keith AND lightingjoe can both agree when its a little out of a hand now! sure, its extremely entertaining but come on guys, cant we all just get along? listen, lightningjoe, personally and im not tryin to be an ass, but i think you read into what Keith originally said from teh beginning, he vented, so what, cant a man vent? just leave it at that and walk away.. he was aggrivated and spoke of his day.. you gave your own story.. ok so here it is, both sides of the stories are said, thats it! DONE! just leave it at that fellas...

just call it truce and leave it at that... its done, its over, next subject... damn people with mustangs, boy i tell ya!

edit: after readin SVTperformance, it seems everythings squashed, i just felt since i havent posted in awhile and saw a beef id give my beef.. NOW NO MORE OF THIS STUFF!

Hey poop happens sometimes.....on a good note we got it resolved, Raw lifter an I talked off line and we're good now. Joe went a little too far, but he knows that and said he was sorry.
