got a set with extra wires off my fox. they are RED in color. all of them are in great shape with no scorching, except one wire had one really small spot where it touched briefly.
there is 12 wires total, so you can have spares. 2 of the wires need the boots re-crimped. takes 5-10 minutes, i just never did it since i had spares.
