Hey just wondering what you guys think, don't have much extra money at the moment, and am just focusing on an emissions test, but once that's all over and done with, just wondering if you guys think I am probably choking my 347.

The intake opening is supposed to be 75mm, but just to get it running put the 65mm TB and egr spacer back on with my cheap cold air intake and 70mm mass air meter, I think the 75mm Trick Flow opening measures closer to 70mm.

So on my 347 with trick flow wedge heads, street trick flow intake, and 2.5 full exhaust, do you think I am likely choking this thing. I have heard that the cold air intakes can create problems at times. What would you guys recommend. Do you think it's okay for me to have the air filter in the fenderwall, or should I just have it right under the hood.

So I have heard some people have had whistling problems with new tb's. So any good suggestions on a 75mm throttle body? I was looking at anderson ford motorsport power pipes. And not sure what is a good mass air meter calibrated for 30lb injectors because I'm not sure if I trust the 70mm one I got from ebay that said it was calibrated for 30lb injectors. any advice would be sweet!

Cheers!

The best cold air kit for the buck is the stock airbox and a high flow filter.

If you use an aftermarket cold air kit, be sure the filter isn't in the engine compartment. The turbulent air causes problems with the air flow through the MAF.

Be prepared to rotate or clock the MAF on any aftermarket cold air kit to smooth out the idle or low speed. Turn it in small amounts through 360 degrees to find ithe smoothest idle if you encounter problems.

If you want recommendations on products...I like my set up: but it's NOT CHEAP
anderson powerpipe...filter in the fender
70mm tb (bbk) although I intend on going bigger with a blower next year
Adaco performance DBX97 90mm MAF *this is programmable and digital and can be any orientation without problems like traditional ones...
