:( Ok so I just now got done finally installing my Dragon Plenum, A 70 mm Accufab TB and a K&N FIPK 2... I start the car and it idles just fine, throttle response is way better than stock, as of SOTP power meter to early to tell. Here is my problem: every time I touch the throttle/accelerate of idle I hear a squeaking sound, best way to describe it is that it sounds like a belt slipping... It only does it for a second, but it does it every time I hit the throttle... Any help would be very much appreciated...

Thank You

Ok the car is still making that squeaking sound under acceleration, no CEL, and no idle problems/drivability problems. It sounds like it is coming from the TB/Plenum. I have rechecked all the vacuum lines and they are all connected. I am sure I tightened down every thing correctly.

Is it a whistle or a squeak? You may have air sucking in from the point the TB mounts to the manifold...unlikey if you used a gasket...or if you didn't get a good seal between the TB and plenum. I used a light bead of RTV when I attached my TB to the plenum.

Ok so I know people are saying this is normal, however it is just way too loud to be... The noise also goes away after the car get hot, and is the loudest on cold start up. I am going to tear every thing off again today and see what I can figure out...

My buddy has a 2.2L sonoma that he has a number of bolt ons for, and after he put his new TB on it got a nice wistle from the air rushing in when the throttle is depressed. Its almost loud enough to sound somewhat like a very small turbo spooling up.

Yeah its pretty loud, it sounds like a belt slipping, and almost part of me wants to think that is what it is, especially when it is the loudest when it is cold. I will let everyone know when I fix it.

i have the same thing on mine, i put on a Demolet CAI, MAC75mm tb and Plenum and got a pretty audible whistle between 1000-1500rpm. i thought it could be a leak between the plenum and manifold, since i had a spacer, so i now had 2 places there could leak, but i took it all off, put new gaskets in there and more rtv sealent, and still have the whistle. its just the intake now sucking in lots of air than it did before.
