TB question

i had it too with my MAC 75mm TB. felt like it was magnetic, youd have to give it extra force to pull the two pieces apart from eachother. i tried everything, adjusting the set screw, adjusting the throttle cables. i finally gave up and sold it.

I was talking to a guy at school that has a 66 coupe and he was saying that his throttle body goes across the whole engine, and it has sort of a lag, until he hits 2nd gear. I brought it up because I noticed he lost traction turning a corner in the rain today. He said he can't help it.

But for me...I have to try REALLY HARD to lose traction (even in the rain!!!) on a corner.

  295 KDW's FTW!

Yeah, that’s a good way to explain it. I will try the set screw and see what happens. I suppose I good drill a small hole in the TB plate like the stock one has. Did you go back to the stock one?
