Tb Vacuum Hose And Aftermarket Oil Cap?

I have an 88 LX that has aftermarket valve covers on it. The covers do support the PCV valve. The car currently has a filtered oil cap on it (looks like the K&N filters). I want to replace the cap with a closed cap and re-run the vacuum line from the TB to the oil filter cap. Currently it is capped off at the TB. Would something like the cap referenced in the link below work? Do you think I could I just connect the TB vacuum line to the inlet of the oil cap?

It would, but I think it would be a pain to remove that hose every time you needed to take the cap off.
