TCP front suspension w/ RRS notched towers...

TCP front suspension owners....

just wondering if anyone had pics of where the UCA mounts to; approximately how low on the shock tower to be more specific.. i want the TCP setup with notched towers i want to see if this is possible.. thanks!

I dont think that this can be done because the TCP coilover suspension uses upper control arms where the RRS system does not.

What is the car setup for? Drags, street, road?

The TCP UCA uses the "Shelby drop" mounting location.

thanks for the pic, it helped out a lot...now i just gotta figure out if the space above the mounting location will be beneficial for me to notch out or not

Looking at this pic off their website I don't see how your going to pull this off. How are you going to attach the UA? Unless your installing a mod motor I don't see any need to notch the towers. You will either have to go MII or use the RRS Mac Strut setup.

Notching Shock Towers

Black demon.
Did it wiork? How far into teh tower did you go?
I need to do the same thing. Any insight woudl be appreciated.

- sorry i havent been able to do anything with my project i've been too busy with my new job... i figured i would install the tcp setup and notch up to the mounting point... if i get to it anytime soon i'll let you know but as of right now it looks like it wouldn't be anytime soon... SORRY!

I got templates from RRS and notched towers on a 65 Mustang. I was contemplating this exact setup for installing a 4.6 DOHC in my car and using the TCP suspension. I will try and post some pics in the next couple of weeks. I am not quite finished with the mock-up but I am convinced that this will not work. Only options are RRS or MII.
