Tell me why a '91 Explorer rear axle won't fit.

Or all the mounting points the same? I would like to get my axle rebuilt and I'd like to just swap an explorer axle in the meantime -if that's possible. Oh yeah, I would plan to swap my rear disc brakes to the Exlporer axle -if that's possible.

Let me know if it's possible.

The Explorer uses leaf springs in the back.
