Temporary Delay?

Just got back from vaca hoping to have a delivery date & my dealer said my car has a "temporary delay" status. I now have a vin # but still no pricing. Anyone else getting the same delay message from their dealer?

yeah, i actually sold a tv and some stuff to a ford dealer, he just said they were all delayed, he was saying they maybe will have one for show in september but thats it

I was wondering about that.

There was a press release where Ford mentioned some of its 2005 models, like the Freestar, would be in dealer's showrooms in September. It then went on to say that the new 2005 Mustang will be showrooms sometime after that..

That kind of hinted, to me, that the Mustang will not be out until after September. Otherwise, would it have not be included in their list of new models due out in September, and not have had that off-the-cuff comment?
