My 02 gt is a squeaker. I've tried spraying WD-40 in the window tracks, but that's only a temporary fix. My passenger side barely makes it, but the driver is another story. Im pretty sure the problem is with the black, right hand piece, bc the noise stops after is passes that.

I am under warranty, but was wondering if there is an easier solution. Thanks

You can fix the problem.. goes away for like 2-3 weeks.. but it seems to always come back

Same problem here with a '02. It is very loud. The squeak happened before I had tints. That's wild, I thought I was the only one.

Silicone spray on the rubber trim up near the mirror silenced my window squeak. Its been over a year and squeak hasn't come back. Can't go wrong for 3$.

Mine did the same thing. I have a 02 as well. I used vasoline on all the rubber pieces and haven't had the problem in about a year.

I had the same problem so I took the car to Ford. They said the window guides at the top of the door were causing the problem. They replaced them and the problem is now no longer.

PS. I asked them if they could just lube them and they said no, the problem would reappear for sure.
