So today Mark (Winters98GT), Myself, and two of his buddies made the trip down to Goliad, TX for the Texas Mile. We all had a blast! It was seriously a LOT of fun!

Here's some pics

These were taken before we left, My 'Stang and Mark's Z06

Keep in mind, when I took the pics of these cars most of them were going 180-200 mph!

808!!!!!!!!

More pics, not for me.......!!!

Not as a class but the best cars of the day, IMO, were

1. Black Ford GT. We did not hear the MPH on the run, but it must have been around 235-250mph.
2. The late 60's green Camaro. The car ran 204MPH, and all the fans stood up and cheered. The old muscle car was flying down the track. It was truely a site to see.
3. 4 Door Porsche. Ran a best of 180mph and is the size of mid-larger SUV. Doesn't sit as high, but had a girl driver. The crowd went nutz when Chris(far right out of the 4 of us) stood up and yelled a big props to her while going back in the pits.
4. The 269mph bike. That guy has a pair of them. Never seen a bike go 269mph in just 1 mile, and he was at that speed at the 3/4 mile mark. Just stupid fast. The fastest bike I have seen at the mile was around 245mph, if I recall.

Great job, Kyle, and had a blast today!

Plenty more pics where those came from, with tons of other cars, and more of 808!

It's a PT loser, as Chris(4th on the right) likes to call them. However, this loser will suck the paint off of plenty of cars. It is a shock to see what these cars do with their mods. These cars are not your Friday night track cars, all these cars are stupid fast on the street.

So when I was taking pictures of the Termi as it was running, I told Mark that I thought it was you because of the wheels

Yeah, they are very similar. They are I-Forged Senekas. Made at the same factory as True Forged.

I have met Blaine in Ennis before.

WOW, I have had my bike up to 125, and at that speed the wind is pretty damn scary, I couldnt imagine 269MPH, thats just insane...

Looks like a blast! I wanted to come but just bought a blower for my car and am now flat broke. Plus I spent the weekend replacing a k-member, steering rack, tie rods, struts, shocks, oil pan gasket, oil cooling jacket gasket, power steering lines and controll arms on my buddies Mark VIII.

Ill be there next year and if I have my built bottom end then I may even run.

149, if I remember right.

The Heffner TT Ford GT went 249, and Underground Racings Green Lambo set the new record for a street car at 250mph.
