I have been reading about a settlement with the TFI modules. If your car has under 100k on it and it breaks, it will be replaced for free. Are there any other catches?

I've never heard of this either. I'd say call your local Ford dealership and ask the service dept.

A year or two ago I got a letter in the mail about this. The case hadn't been settled at the time. Kind of forgot about it until now. My car is having problems with holding idle and I think it may have something to do with this. Anyway, remembering this letter, I looked it up on Yahoo to see if this case was ever settled. Here is what I found:

It was settled already, deadline came and went. I got about $200 back from it...all I did was follow the directions, I didn't even have reciepts.
