TFS Head install

I'm putting in a set of ported twisted wedge heads. I have questions. Do I need a special length pushrod and how much piston to valve clearance do I have? My cam has .533/.544 lift. I know I'm cutting it close. I have a basically stock bottom end. Anybody? I know as recently as yesterday somebody said .540 is the max but I've seen .550 advertised. Please help. TFS heads are a PITA...you need special tapered head bolts too.

im pretty sure you need new pushrods....thats about all i can help

i think my pushrods were 6.75"

also you might wanna ask about the stock springs on those heads. i know you dont have as much lift as i do but i had to get the upgraded springs and I cant remember where the stockers end lifting. make sure you check because im thinking it was like .530/.540 area, of course it was 7 months ago so i cant remember, i just know i needed them.

you should actually check PTV clearance on ALL cam installs, in this case i think youll be real close and and prolly wont be within specs. youll need 6.70"-6.75" hardened push rods.
