Today I discovered where the slight vibration in my '94 GT was coming from...the harmonic balancer had decided to come apart @ 225,000 miles.
A search of the forums, following a few links here and there and I had the info I needed to tackle this job. I picked up a Pioneer non-SFI HB at one of the local auto parts store and then I went to the other one to rent the HB puller.
About 3 hours later and my 5.0 is back rolling down the highway without that annoying vibration I would get at certain RPMs that would tend to get better when I would let off the throttle and coast at certain speeds on the highway.
Thanks :SNSign: you guys totally rock
I've attached some pics of the old harmonic balancer, as you can see, it was in serious need of replacement.

Maybe Im just partial but If I couldnt do a job myself and had to bring it in, Id rather bring it to a factory trained tech as opposed to some of the types of people I see come into the parts store to work on cars from independent shops. Me personally, I took pride in being Ford certified
