Well, I fired up the 408 for the first time. First try, I realized I was an idiot since I put the fuel pressure guage where the adjustment screw goes ( I misread the instructions), so I fixed that, then there was a hole in the heater pipe, which sprayed coolant everywhere. AFter getting that fixed I was able to break it in, and I must say that it runs like a raped ape.
I just wanted to thank you all here on stangnet, i've spent many hours pouring over old threads. This is my first engine build, engine swap, transmission swap, clutch install, and everything as of 500 miles is going great. I don't even have the dreaded vibe at 95 mph. The information provided here by you guys has been invaluable.
