The Front Dropped more with Sportlines?

oops. yea about that question, i honestly dont know anything about cutting springs. i have absolutely no knoweldge of it, and i've heard so many different things from different people. A couple guys on here are all for it and say its perfectly okay to cut them, then i've met people who called me a dumbass for wanting to cut off a little bit of the spring.

one thing if for sure tho, i know a lot of people who have F'd up and had to buy new springs alltogether cuz they made them all uneven and/or cut them wrong, etc...im not really the guy to look for info on cutting springs, but i know it would do the trick, but i dont know the side effects.

I got the same problem and im one of the guys TrueBlue is talkin about that is pissed off about the way the front sits higher. I plan on taking the bottom isolators out up front putting in new poly-urethane spring isolators in hopes that maybe they're better than the stock ones and will raise the rear a slight bit. I LOVE how the back sits, i just wish the front end was the same.

It looks a lot like TrueBlue03's, except that my back may be dropped slightly more. I'll try to get pics soon today.
cool :nice:

Just remember the spring may not have been fully settled and more of a drop will lead to tire kissing the fenders which will lead to slashing

Well I'm off to shovel the driveway now....after that's done I'll back the car out and snap a few pics for you guys. This is so damn frustrating...wish I could return them for the bad drop!

I figured that I wouldn't be able to though, since wouldn't I have have return it to the place where I actually bought them from? Who knows, maybe Eibach would take them...Anyway, I've gotta get off of here and go shovel that damn snow.

yup...my $320 each tires got all slashed and hacked up cuz they dropped so much in back. i was hoping more people would have seen all my past threads about this issue of sportlines, but i guess not.

yeah with the increase of this problem I was told by the CS at Eibach that they haven't had any complaints sent to them about it, hope they take care of this issue
