the Mach 1 finally got window tint.....

Since its been getting pretty hot out here already, yesterday I finally decided to get my windows tinted on the Mach. Since I dont like having different percentages of tint, I decided to get 15% all the way around, with the vinyl strip across the rear of the back window to get rid of the bubbling up. I know its illegal here in Cali to have the side windows tinted, but i decided to take a chance. Im sure I will get F'd with but well see.

Heres a few sh**ty pics....It looks alot darker in the pics than it actually is...

thats awesome...but i have something that just bothers me so bad. that u cant get the windshield done. it would look SO much better that way. theres an eclipse running around here with the windshield and all done, and its so cool looking (not riced out either), its like a 2003?

Thanks...Yours is sick too, & I wish I had a blower BTW...I definately recommend tint though. I cant beleive I went without it this long. We will see how long it takes me to get pulled over though since my side windows are tinted & I never run a front plate.

wonder if you did something real light like 45-50% all around including windshield if it would cause that many problems

I wouldn't want to drive a car with front windshield tint at night. Sounds scary.

+1...thats too much tint...It might look cool, but it would be a problem.

the wifes accord has 15% all around. it looks really good.

the front window isnt that bad to be tinted my ranger had 20% on the windshield 5% on the driver and passenger windows and 5% on top of 5% on the side and rear windows. (yes i like it dark!!)
i could see just fine except out the back window. i had to open the sliding glass to back up. now i just have 5% on the sides and double 5% onthe rear still

looks good Dustin, i told ya to get below 20% on that beautiful car otherwise im driving up to Sac where it's 100 degrees and letting you have it. Im glad we dont have to go there

Thanks Chris...I knew u were gonna chime in sooner or later. U were right though, 25% wouldnt be enough.

Really? I was actually considering 25% for myself. I was thinking that since my car is black, it doesn't need to be as dark to give the same effect?

Dont get me wrong it will look good, but 15% will look better. Whats the tint law in your state?

Not completely sure, but I think its 35%.

Epik, I think black bumper inserts would really set off the rear end of your car. They'd match the new tint awesome.
