I saw a fox with these MT ET street radials and he was grinning ear to ear because they hook! My other buddy sold his 88 SD car to someone else who was going to make it a race car. My buddy ran a best of 13.8 with 3.73s and regular MT ET street slicks, but this new owner put a set of ET street radials on and they hook like at the track. He let my buddy get in his old car and he launched it on the street at 4 grand and she just started moving! Very little slip and you don't have to really burn out to get them sticky, just a mild one to clean them off. When my '66 goes the 1320, there will definitely be a set of ET street radials on it.

yea if i put some et streets on my car i think id leave behind my tranny, axles, rear end, etc cause i love to **** with people on the street in 1st and 2nd. My buddy (driving next to me) says that my nose comes up a good 5 inches when i blip it in second.

I'd like to see a video of this 5" in second gear story? With your mods i find that hard to beleive. Inless you have weak springs in rear or maybe no front sway bar? peace

These new mt's are awsome tires! I've seen a stang go low low 10's on these and they were a 235! I also heard alot of the racing organzations wont allow them? Right now i run 26x10x15 slicks but next year i'm going to these, also buying a set for my street wheels! peace

My brother had a set of the nitto 555r's on his car for a while. They were 275/40/17 and honestly i wasnt too impressed. I mean, sure they hooked better than a street tire. But when we took it for a ride and launched it on the street, the first time it just spun. Then after a good 15-20 second burnout, it finally hooked pretty well. But he was launching at about 3500 with a stock clutch at 3.55's. I can only imagine trying to launch on those with 3.73's and a spec stage II?!?! I guess i will be looking into ET streets now, thats good to hear they hook well on the street! What size on a stock 10 hole?

I am running these on my car also, i havent been to the track yet with it but will let you know after i go, i really hope they hook as good as everyone says they do, because they dont hook that well on the street at all, but i have never heated them up to really try them out.

That is why you are having trouble hooking....

Well, i hope that i dont have too much trouble, these things are real soft and sticky, plus, i have never heated them up. I hope they hook, if not i will just go with a set of slicks. I drive the car on the street a lot that is why i went with these tires. It's a low compression motor (9.2:1).

Actually dead hook is not only hard on parts, but unless your making a ton of power, your likely to see weaker times then if you spin a little. My brothers 86 with 3.55s and slicks would dead hook to low 1.8 60's and run 12.7-12.8 @ 108.

Rev limiter launches they spin some, low 1.6 60's and 12.4-12.5 @ 108.

These tires would probably work real well. They should slip a little but keep enough traction to get you moving down the track!

I finally got a pair of these. 275/50/15. Have you guys tried launching on the street with these? I did and they dont hook for anything in first. I keep trying to do a nice long 2nd gear burnout but after a few seconds it basically hooks and tries to throw me all over the place if I dont let off the brake. Even then it still wont hook of I launch it at all in 1st. Im going to the track on friday so hopefully they act differently there.
