Raced one the other night...wow, there quick, hung with me until 3rd gear, then I had em by about half a car, none the less they are fast, anyone know what boost they run at... His BOV was so freaking loud, had the windows up and could still here him shift behind me !

one of the older r32s was at my local track last thursday. he always revs at my brother and my brother just doesnt even care. but i got a chance to race him and he ran a 10.1 at 73 to my 9.3 at 76 lol i spun till i hit 65mph. our track prep sucks at this track.

but anyways its 240hp v6. they are all motor so if u heard a turbo either he was an r32 with a twin turbo setup and he really sucked at driving or he had a 1.8t.

no turbo stock...
if that was a real r32 AND was in fact turboed, sorry to say, but he would have raped you (unless you were sprayin when you raced) my friend has an r32 with only intake and chip and its pretty quick ~ mid 13's 1/4 mile. If it was turboed, it would be easily capable of low 12's to mid 11's.

he had to have had a different model all badged up like an r32, OR it was running extremly crappy and he was a terrible driver.

nice kill though nonetheless :nice:

The previous generation R32's are sexy as hell, but they definately werent FI from the factory.... I think in europe they were either supercharged or turbo'd though. I am a huge VW fan, my daily is an 86 Jetta GLI...

I am no longer afraid of these turbo 4 banger cars in stock form because I beat a new STI from a 3rd gear roll the other night 2 times in a row. It was very surprising to me & him as his passenger yelled out " you gotta have something in that man, that cant be stock!!!" :rlaugh: This was done at the track of course!!!!:D

The blow off valve muffler... Yeh if that was the case I would feel really dumb..haha NO you could hear it spool up....I dont think he could take a stang either that or he was just a supper sh***y driver
