This is the first day that i bought the car completly stock with only 53,000 miles on it.

wow the block is kaput! crazy!

I like the orange. Something about your car though everytime it gets voted for FOTM. post up some new pics - maybe some side profile shots of the engine. Do you have any with a air cleaner on top? And.......my 2 cents Love the car but the chrome ponies gotta go.

HEI distributors make for an easy ignition system when doing a carb swap.

no i dont run any air cleaner...ya i was thinking the same thing about the ponys but i also wanted to keep it some what stock appearing and i havent found a pair that i have really liked...maybe once its painted ill find a set that i like i was thinking maybe chrome or black im not sure

what kind of cai was on there when you were with the efi setup? that orange is gonna be straight tits

ive seen some carnage pics of blocks cracked down the middle before, but thats the first time ive seen every single main bearing support broken like that. dayum.

car looks good though, gives me inspiration to make mine even half as mean as yours seems to be.

ya that was a shocker right at the top end of the race it blew....nitrous is a bitch some times

i welded them all and then put filler over it to level everything out

ya you have a sick set up going....where did you get your stroker kit from? what kind of block? any dyno numbers?

lol its an eagle kit, stock block. hasnt run yet, few weeks i will have it dyno'd hopefully

Each of you have got me to work on my car again. I'm in the process of pulling the dash out, and the EFI harness and computer. Its more work than I thought.

Did you fill that rot hole in the passenger side frame rail by the shock tower with bondo or did you cut it all out and put new metal there?
