all i did was welded a pice of metal over it and covered it with bondo...now that its all painted and everything it looks great you would never even be able to tell it was there.

what size tires are those? on the back i mean. not 28" right?

no they are 27x10.5R16 they fit perfectly they dont stick out on the sides of the car and fit right in not to mention that they hook like crazy

ahhh they look good, i was wondering b/c im having issues fitting 28's under my gt, dont think its gonna happen lol

ya a buddy of mine had a lot of trouble fitting the 28's inder his GT as well but after a lot of hammering he got them to fit....what tire are you running thats a 28? are they going on the chrome ponys?

Yeah, that's all you really have to do. As long as it's the 1/8" steel like the rest of the frame rail, you're okay. A guy at a local fab shop makes these badass replacements for shock tower/frame rail areas. He cuts out the old crap and he has these boxes pre-made and he welds them up, it's pretty damn cool, he does a lot of trick work.

Does he sell them...do they sell replacements.. i got a new motor im puttin in my 89 and the drivers side shock tower is cancered out by the frame rail....im having a shop fix it when i do the swap....

I don't know if he sells them or not, but every single fox body over there had them welded in already. He had 9 foxes and actually I think 8 of them had them.

nah they are on 15x8 welds w/ 5.5 bs. bfg 275/60/15's. if you run into him ask how he got them to fit for me!

alright i need some opinions im debating wether or not to cut a hole in the hood and put a hilborn style scoop on the car so that the bottom of the scoop is flush with the hood...do you guys think that would look good or not once the car is painted.

ya im undecided on it i saw a pic of a fox with one that looked sick but idk how it will look with the hood that i have.

maybe if your car was back halved, tubbed and looking for the prostreet look. I say don't do it

alright thanks for the replies keep them comming i really dont want to make a big mistake here and cut the hood open and then decide that it dosent look good.
