That really doesnt matter, I dont see NE losing two games. So even if both where 15-1 NE would get #1 slot.

Where did he sound like he had an ego? Where was he throwing his team under the bus? He basically said even with me playing bad my team hung in there and we almost pulled it out. He never threw the kicker under the bus, he never said anything bad about his team.
If anyone has an ego its the Patriots and their fans. I have nothing against NE or Tom Brady, in fact he is a Big 10 guy so I like him. But I would laugh my ass off it Brady got Carson Palmered just when they are up by 30 points in the 4th quarter and Brady is still playing. I think it would be a slice of humble pie to Belicheat and the fans.

Its not an excuse, all he said was they have to prepare for KC next week on a short week. He did not say "just in case we lose next week please remember its on a short week after two loses that we should have won"
