The Official kiddiccarus 2007 NFL Thread

there is actually a rule in the nfl now that the superbowl has to be in dorrs in a controlled invironment they make so much money off the chit they sell and do they think they have to have it inside i agree though throw them on the frozen turf of lambeau for the superbowl and we will see whose is men.

Gotta agree with you there. What's up with the SB always being played in places like Tampa and Miami? What about places like NE, GB and PIT?

It comes down to money and what not. No one wants to sit at lambo field or Gillette stadium in early February. The NFL does not want the fans to have to sit in cold weather for 4 hrs for the super bowl. Sure the fans of either team wouldn't care but it does not work that way. It just does not make as good TV as playing in a climate controlled enviroment or warmer weather.

Thats so horrible. RIP Sean Taylor.

Who the hell wants to spend $1000 a ticket + travel to go to ****ty and Cold Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New England, in the winter. :rlaugh:

Most people who go to these games stay the better part of the week so would you rather go to a place where you can spend all your time outside in 85 degree weather looking at hot girls in bikinis in Miami or NE women with huge noses in parkas because its 20 degree or fat midwestern women in Green Bay when its -20.

Look how successful the SB in detroit was, it was cold and snowy. No one wants to spend time in the city when its that cold. Well no one wants to spend time in Detroit anyway though.

Btw domes rule for fans because its nice watching a game at 72 degrees in December rather than watching that crappy ass game last night.

Weather is part of the game, and that element should not be removed. They should at least have a set rotation where all teams get a chance to host the SB.

No they shouldnt. Would you rather spend a week in Miami, San Diego, Phoenix, and Tampa or spend a week in Buffalo, Indy, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Detroit, Green Bay, Chicago, or Boston in the winter?

There is alot of $$ that comes with the super bowl and the NFL will make alot more in warmer climates than in crap weather. There is also alot more to the SB than just the game.
