Not really. I think they have a much harder time with teams like this. They get pumped for games like week 14 will be. I am not saying the Steelers win, but I think it will be an awesome game, and I think they will come out on top.

I'd like to see anyone else go out and play a good game on that Godawful field.

Am I the only one that saw that punt that landed and didn't even BOUNCE? It just stuck in the turf!

They have a much harder time with the suck teams then the teams that have quality?

Does that make as little sense as I think it does?

Gotta agree with you there. What's up with the SB always being played in places like Tampa and Miami? What about places like NE, GB and PIT?

there is actually a rule in the nfl now that the superbowl has to be in dorrs in a controlled invironment they make so much money off the chit they sell and do they think they have to have it inside i agree though throw them on the frozen turf of lambeau for the superbowl and we will see whose is men.

I stopped over at the Stadium after the game tonight (friend works there) and went out on the field. . .holy shnikies. It was like a wet cow pasture. I say strike all the stats LOL! (Ben did have 16 completed passes in a row ) but it was hardto walk on there I couln't imagine playing football.

That was the strangest game I think I've ever seen. Even with the crappy field conditions I think I would have if Pitt had lost that game.

That was the most entertaining 3-0 game I have ever seen. Too bad some bitch of a Steeler had to stomp on Rickys shoulder like a little punk.

It comes down to money and what not. No one wants to sit at lambo field or Gillette stadium in early February. The NFL does not want the fans to have to sit in cold weather for 4 hrs for the super bowl. Sure the fans of either team wouldn't care but it does not work that way. It just does not make as good TV as playing in a climate controlled enviroment or warmer weather.

Actually it makes perfect sence..

On paper the Pats were susposed to destroy the Eagles.. They were one of those "suck" teams, yet they had a tough time with them.. Seems to make sence to me

Who the hell wants to spend $1000 a ticket + travel to go to ****ty and Cold Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New England, in the winter.

Most people who go to these games stay the better part of the week so would you rather go to a place where you can spend all your time outside in 85 degree weather looking at hot girls in bikinis in Miami or NE women with huge noses in parkas because its 20 degree or fat midwestern women in Green Bay when its -20.

Look how successful the SB in detroit was, it was cold and snowy. No one wants to spend time in the city when its that cold. Well no one wants to spend time in Detroit anyway though.

Btw domes rule for fans because its nice watching a game at 72 degrees in December rather than watching that crappy ass game last night.

Weather is part of the game, and that element should not be removed. They should at least have a set rotation where all teams get a chance to host the SB.

No they shouldnt. Would you rather spend a week in Miami, San Diego, Phoenix, and Tampa or spend a week in Buffalo, Indy, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Detroit, Green Bay, Chicago, or Boston in the winter?

There is alot of $$ that comes with the super bowl and the NFL will make alot more in warmer climates than in crap weather. There is also alot more to the SB than just the game.
