The tallent level of the patriots VS the other teams in the superbowl's were much closer. I dont think that is the case here. Especially the Giants secondary which I think is going to have a hard time trying to cover Moss...umm Stallworth...oh yeah Watson..umm oh yes Welker, Gafney and dont forget about Falk out of the back field
All the receivers you mentioned will be trouble except Moss. Moss has a big weakness and that is if he gets whacked he gets rattled.
In 2000 when the Giants played the Vikes for the NFC Championship, the Giants hit Moss hard early in the game. Very hard but fair hits. He just got very gun-shy. The Giants have got to do this again.
The Pats great strength is their passing game. So, either the Giants secondary has to have a hella day or the pressure from the front 4 has to be greater than ever in order to keep the Pats scoring to a reasonable level. It will be a challenge to keep them under 30.
If somehow, the Giants hold the Pats to 30, they still will have to have the offense step up and score > 30! It will be very hard to win this game but not impossible.
One other way the Giants can win: Keep the Pats offense off the field.
The Giants would have to have a strong running game and hog the ball and run the clock. The Giants have a good running attack so they may attempt to go this route. It has a better chance for success than a shoot-out. PLUS, if the Giants somehow execute really well and do not turn the ball over and eat up the clock, then the Pats scoring will have to be down somewhat.
Honestly, the Giants didn't stand much chance against the Cows in Dallass but they won. They stood almost no chance in the frozen tundra and still they won.
I believe that the way things worked out, if any team in the NFL can beat the Pats, it is the Giants. I really feel the Giants peeked at just the right time.
If forced to make a prediction, my heart says 28-27 Giants.
