The Official kiddiccarus 2007 NFL Thread

And I'll take the one with 2 superbowl rings and one of the youngest and most talented teams in the NFL. The way the Broncos looked on Sunday, they might make a serious run at the Bowl this year.

Wait didnt it take a last second field goal to beat Buffalo? Yeah thats much more impressive than San Diego holding the NFCs best to 3 points, the Colts stomping the NFC #2 41 - 10, or New Englands beat down of a playoff team from last year on the road. [/sarcasm]

You just weakened your point with that junk. Buffalo sucks and you say your team played a good game and only beat them by 1. Yeah for you, good luck beating San Diego for that division.

All that I know is Denver hasnt done anything 7 of the 8 years since Elway left and that is a fact.

The above bolded statement is not valid because *cough* they are cheaters :)

This thread is pretty funny. I'm just going to keep making random comments about how the Bengals are going to mop up the floor with everyone this year, and everyone will just keep overlooking these comments because they're all stuck in this Pats argument.

LOL the Pats have to cheat to Win......................CHEATERS:notnice:

I am starting to get pissed off at this story. EVERY NFL TEAM spies on the defensive signals in fact many coaches want to go to a system where a few defensive players have the headsets in the helmets.

The thing belichick did wrong was he used a video camera instead of a guy with binoculars like everybody else does. :notnice:

The NFL is filled with underhanded methods like this. How about Manginia meeting with caldwell and a few other recently released pats to steal signals and gameplans. OHHH that is ok.

How about how every NFL NFL coach tries to cover what they are saying when they talk to the QB on the headset because they KNOW that there are people with binoculars watching and that info can be relayed to the other team.

BTW I want to hear how belichick got the info in real time so it could be used on the same play the signal was used on.. This is IMPOSSIBLE since this guy was recording it from the jets side of the field.

The way this info would have been used would have been at halftime during adjustments... Think about it, if they were sending the plays to belichick/brady real time then why even record it.... The answer is IT WAS not used in real time, because that would be impossible.. Not only would real time communications be needed from the jets sidelines but you would also need the guy recording it to also analyze and figure out the play itself

BTW Many NFL teams change the signals at halftime for this reason. This crap has been going on for years.

If some of you people on here that are fans of weaker teams want to pretend that the only team doing this stuff was the patriots and thats the only reason they win then fine be a moron and have your head in the sand.

Do what they do in college ball.. Ban them from tournament play. No matter what the Pats record may be this season do not let them play in the playoffs.. That and the win should be reversed and Jets be given that win, and suspend coach Belichick for 3 game.. See if they ever cheat again

/pats season

How about I ban you from stangnet :rlaugh: j/k

Apparently they did something wrong if they are getting in trouble for it:rolleyes:

Your right they did do something wrong. But what I am trying to say is this is not a huge deal that people that don't like the pats are making it out to be.

Seriously the only reason the pats are in trouble is because of where they videotaped it. Stealing signals is part of the game like baseball. But just like baseball using a camera to record it is illegal. If they taped it from the stands or the roof or from a blimp we would not even be talking about this.

This problem can be solved easily just put headsets in a few defensive "captains" helmets and eliminate the cheating.

I really want this now because since the pats can't "cheat" anymore now only the other teams can and this is a serious disadvantage

I think the big story in this is how much of a treacherous homo manginia is ( yes i am spelling his name like that on purpose) ... Belichick gave him his start in the NFL

when i use to play high school ball our coach would have a scout looking at both the defensive and offesive signals form the rival coach, and we made adjustments by half time cause we would now how many times they would run a certain play in a drive and all that stuff ...all due to the signals he would give out :D

Hey!!!!!!! :p

dont hate cause your team has been suspected of, and has cheated

:p

my team just sucks lol

these signals the defensive coaches are sending out are in front of 70,000 people.. again I fail to see what the big deal is about recording them.

These signals are changed many times during the game. the edge given by figuring out the signals is small, since they might be changed in the next series...

They do the same thing in the pros, many backup players are assigned the task of watching the signals.

All we are talking about with this cheating here is where is it legal to videotape from. from what I read of the rules if the videotaping hapens in the stands on on the roof or whatever it's ok but since it was the sideline it was not.

BUT.... the rule does not mention the sidelines by name.. It says you can not videotape from the field or the coaches booths.. it does not mention the sidelines by name..

AND.. If you guys think your favorite NFL team is not recording everything including the reactions of coaches when they call a certain play then you are NUTS. It's just like poker you can gain a advantage if the other coach tips off a play by how he reacts after it's called.

Same **** will be going on this sunday... everybody will be trying to figure out the other teams signals. I guess as long as you record them from the stands it's ok but the sidelines is not ok

You really think the patriots were the only team in the NFL trying to figure out the other teams signals.. :rlaugh: just admit it, you don't like the patriots and the fact that they have won a lot and you are looking for a excuse to dismiss them.. If you came out and admited it I would have more respect for you

If you honestly think this is a isolated thing and all the other good boy scout coaches were just trying to have a nice fair game where everybody wins and we all get ice cream in the end then I think your a fool.

Every team has people dedicated to trying to figure out the signals. From back up players to lower rung coaches to specialist in the stands.. That is a known fact and is not against any rules. Just like baseball it is totally legal to steal signals. It's just not legal to videotape them from the sidelines.

Lets remember patriot bashers.. These signals are sent out facing the patriots bench.. In full veiw of thousands of people.

Plus lets remember we are talking about very very complicated signals. even if you have them on tape does not mean you can figure them out, since all teams change them in the course of the game. Same thing happens in baseball.

so you can Go stick your head deeper into the sand and pretend they were the only one doing it. While your at it youcan pretend that the pats really sucked all along and this is the only reason they win.

Yes the patriots were wrong and broke a rule. BUT did you see what the rule they broke was? The infraction is for videotaping illegally not for stealing signals. The rule they broke is they videotaped from a illegal area.
