The Official kiddiccarus 2007 NFL Thread

Really? So what explains the hit he took in the game THIS season against the G-men when he got knocked on his ass and was on the ground for a bit......... he caught a TD the VERY NEXT PLAY :nono:

Manning has 8 TD and 1 int in the last 4 games... 4 TD in 1 game, along with that int. He won't have another 4 TD game against the Pats. Gonna be 1 TD and 1 int. Brady will have 3 TD, 0 int.. Maroney will have 1 TD.. Welker will have 10 catches.

It'll be close until the middle of the 3rd quarter, then the Pats will do what they do best... pull away from the pack.

Gonna be 38-27, Patriots :flag:

..........

Got any more pix of ur car im really liking it?? pm me

If you want to talk about past games and how to handle Moss why do you go back to 2000 when they just played against Moss in week #17. What happened in 2000 is pointless b/c its not even the same players. If you want do a comparison then week 17 would be more accurate, the week he caught 6 passes 2 for TD's and the Giants did not have much of an answer for him.

You missed the point. To be clear, Moss is succeptable to becomming very gun shy as in "hearing fotsteps" if he gets whacked hard. That's what was learned back in 2000. Therefore, in order to get Moss in that mode, he has to be whacked! No whacking = no gun shy. Well whacked = gun shy.

Quite a few WR's are that way. I have never noticed it in the Pats other WR's or their TE.

I don't remember that hit. You may be right but I can't remember him getting hit solidly.

Honestly, I just don't want to see a blow-out. The Giants have done very well so far.

I can't remember what quarter it was in, I think it was the 2nd quarter up near the goal line. He was running his route and let off when the ball wasn't coming his way, turned his head toward Brady and Madison planted his feet and leveled him... it was a completely legal hit, but it was a VERY hard hit.. he was down on all fours for a few minutes while the trainers attended to him. He looked a little shaken up after he got on the sidelines after the TD, but jumped up above everyone for a jump ball in the endzone the next play.

Aside from this year, I haven't seen many of Moss's games. I wonder if a player can overcome a fear of taking a hit? If so, that would suck. I'd try it again to make sure though if you know what I mean.

Your location says "AR". What made you a Pats fan? I lived in NY most of my life.

Well, everyone down here LOOOOOOOOVES the Cowboys (who I HHAATTTEEE)... I always liked the 49'ers and Chiefs because Joe Montana wasmy favorite player of all time (and still is). But after watching Brady play when he got to start I was really amused and started turning into a big time Tom Brady fan. So, where ever he goes i'll be a fan of that team, but I like everyone on that team.. Harrison, Samuel, etc etc etc.

I seem to do that with sports players... Ken Griffey Jr., followed him from Seattle to the Reds and got to see him play with both teams... Montana, followed him from 49er's to the Chiefs, but I never got a chance to see him play :(... But I am going to go to a Pats game next year so I CAN see Brady at least once in his career, during his prime.

Brady is pretty freeky. To come from basically no where to where he is today is weird. Most good QB's are highly regarded as they are up & coming.

The only other real good no-name QB today is that little prick on the Cows who blew 2 playoff games in 2 years.

 :rlaugh: My thoughts exactly!

I can't stand him... if I wanted to blow $100, i'd order a personalized Cowboys #9 jersey with "HOMO" instead of "ROMO" to put up in my apartment to make fun of him :D

I'm terrified at the thought of the Cowboys getting Darren McFadden in the draft.. that would just make me want to barf :nonono:.. I want him to go to a team that can actually win a playoff game.

I know your point but you missed mine. If they know they need to wack moss to shake him up then why didnt they do it in week 17 instead of having him catch 6 balls for over 100 yards and 2 TDs

That's the thing about Brady, he doesn't lead the WR's into a smackdown. Do the TE's and FB's take one? Sure, but they're bigger, stronger, and still, not often.

Going on NE past SB performances I think it will be closer

I've thought about that too, and how Belechick always seems to do just enough to win, but...

I think that the score will be in the 34-31 range going into the 4th, Pats'll drive making it 41-31 while eating up 6-7 minutes, Eli throws a pick-6 to Harrison or Samuel, Maroney runs out the clock.

No offense to Giants fans, but I'd really like to see Rodney Harrison get a pick while covering Plaxico in the 4th quarter with the Pats up by 10 or so.. no offense to anyone.
